Overview

At Uttarakhand Travel Guru, we strive to maintain transparency and fairness in all our bookings and services. Below is our refund policy, applicable to tour packages, hotel bookings, transfers, and other local travel services offered by us.


General Guidelines

  1. All refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to our official support ID: [your email].

  2. Refunds will be processed as per the cancellation terms mentioned at the time of booking.

  3. Services marked non-refundable at the time of booking are not eligible for any refund.

  4. All refunds are subject to service charges, administrative fees, and applicable taxes.


Tour Packages (Including Char Dham Yatra & Other Pilgrimages)

  • Cancellation 30 days or more before departure – Eligible for 80% refund

  • Cancellation 15–29 days before departure – Eligible for 50% refund

  • Cancellation less than 15 days before departureNo refund

Note: Custom and group tours may carry different refund terms, which will be informed prior to booking.


Hotel Bookings

  • Hotel refunds depend on the individual cancellation policy of the selected hotel.

  • No refund for no-shows, early check-outs, or non-cancellable bookings.

  • Any processing charges for hotel refunds will be deducted.


Transfers & Local Services (Cabs, Buses, etc.)

  • Cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance may be eligible for partial refund depending on the vendor’s policy.

  • No refund for missed transfers due to delays, no-shows, or incomplete communication from the client.


Refund Timeline

 

  • Refunds, once approved, will be processed within 7–14 working days.

  • The amount will be refunded via the original mode of payment.

  • Delays caused by banks or payment gateways are not the responsibility of Uttarakhand Travel Guru.
